Competition Day Two

The girls did such a fabulous job performing!  I am so very proud of each of them!

So, they were interviewed for the blog before each performance...

Theresse, Bailey, and Makala were asked, "How do you feel about performing Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy?
They won Gold and 2nd Place High Score Overall Duos/Trios

Theresse and Makala were asked, "What is it like performing a duet with your best friend?"

They won High Gold and 1st Place Overall High Score Duos/Trios for Freak Out!

The girls were asked, "What is it like being a Psychadelic Nerd?"

Psychadelic Nerds won Gold and 2nd Place High Score Overall Small Groups!  As a special note: This dance was choreographed by Theresse Weigand-Watkinson (Age 11).

Before Uncontrollable took to the stage, the girls were asked, "Is it cool being a zombie?"

Uncontrollable won High Silver!

Before Theresse performed her solo, she was asked, "What is it like to be on the stage all by yourself?"
(Her interview was high-jacked by Makala though!)

If My Friends Could See Me Now won High Silver and the Broadway Style Special Award!

Both Stephanie and Bailey were performing their very first solos.  So, naturally, they were asked, "What do you think about performing your very first solo?"

Bailey's I Get Around won High Silver and Stephanie's Rock and Roll won High Gold, 2nd Place High Score Overall Future Stars Solos, and the Clean 'n Clear Tappin' Special Award!

After both award ceremonies, the girls were asked, "How do you feel about the wins?"

All in all, it was a great weekend of competition!  Now, on to the dance convention classes tomorrow!
